MIRROR MIRROR is a large-scale immersive installation exploring self-perception, illness, identity and the shifting internal narratives through which we understand ourselves.
Thirty-six illuminated mirrors form a circular psychological landscape, surrounded by 250 red and clear lights. Across their surfaces, handwritten messages in lipstick capture fragments of internal thought: vulnerability, confidence, fear, desire, uncertainty, resilience and the changing ways we perceive ourselves.
The work emerged from a period of illness and physical change that forced Ornagh out of the momentum of everyday life. Her body changed, familiar expressions of identity became inaccessible, and periods of stillness created an unfamiliar confrontation with the self.
The mirror therefore becomes more than a physical reflection. It represents the moments in which movement stops and we are left with our internal landscape — the thoughts, judgements and stories through which we understand who we are.
As visitors move around the installation, Ornagh’s words remain on the glass while the person reflected behind them continually changes.
Through what lens are you seeing yourself today?

An itch. An old thought. A familiar pull towards something that promises to make everything quieter.
Binge is a live contemporary performance by Ornagh and Rosie Greenwood exploring the seductive space between thought, desire and compulsion. Moving beyond our familiar ideas of bingeing and addiction, the work looks towards the quieter ways we escape ourselves — the everyday rituals of relief we rarely think to question, and what they might quietly be keeping us from in the long run.
At first, she resists. But the itch knows her well. It offers familiarity, mischief, pleasure — the delicious relief of giving in and letting something else take over for a while.
Through movement, music and spoken monologue, Binge moves from resistance to surrender and asks:
When does the thing that offers escape become the thing we can’t escape?
Event and Duration: Part of ‘The Art of Worlding Building’ Event. Doors 6:30pm . Binge Starts @ 7:00pm ( Approx 25 mins) followed by a talk and Q & A with the Artist Ornagh.

MIRROR MIRROR and BINGE emerge from the same wider exploration of thought, behaviour and imbalance, but encounter that landscape at different moments.
BINGE exists within the momentum of the cycle. It examines the attempt to escape one internal state by replacing it with another: itch, resistance, surrender, pleasure, escalation and entrapment.
MIRROR MIRROR creates the pause.
Developed in the aftermath of a period in which illness interrupted Ornagh’s own momentum, the installation considers what happens when action slows and we are left to encounter the person who has lived through it.
One work moves through the urge to override a feeling.
The other asks what becomes visible when we stop.
Together, the works explore the unstable space between thought, feeling, action and reflection — and the possibility that awareness itself can alter our relationship with the cycle.
Ornagh is a UK-based artist working across immersive installation, XR, performance, and psychological environments.
Her work explores emotional systems, beauty, consciousness, identity, and the relationship between virtual and physical worlds.
