Ornagh Explores the Intersection of AI and Art at ‘And the Sooner, the Better!’ Exhibition

Conceptual Artist Ornagh is set to showcase her innovative artwork at the upcoming “And the Sooner, the Better!” exhibition, a part of the Photo Hastings festival. The festival revolves around the intriguing theme of AI and photography, spearheaded by Photo Hastings member Neale Willis.

The exhibition draws inspiration from Richard Brautigan’s poignant words in “All Watched Over by Machines of Loving Grace.” It challenges the conventional notion of artificial intelligence by questioning whether AI is here to help or to free us from our labours. The theme encourages artists to explore the presence and influence of AI in our lives.

Ornagh’s Contribution:

Ornagh will present her Video Art collection, “The Ode to Her,” as well as featuring her ten Virtual Reality Painting and Photography works from ‘Ode to Him’. Her unique approach involves the use of AI at different stages of her creative process, showcasing the versatility of AI in artistic expression. The submitted works, created with Softwares like Midjourney and Starrayai for AI Imagery, Gen2 for Generative Video Artwork, and Premiere Pro for extending Video Art, offer a glimpse into the intersection of technology and art.
